TEAM OAKLANDS
This is Lottie Smith, who runs the livery of the stables as well as riding lessons and pony club.
She is a highly qualified instructor who is extremely professional and sought after despite her young age, passing both her BHS Preliminary Teaching Test and BHS Stage 3 examinations.
Lottie has also been very successful in Mounted Games, qualifying and attending HOYS. She has spent her entire life around horses, so has a lot of experience and patience with both people and horses!
Julie Smith, mother of Lottie, is the yard owner and has a lifetime of experience around horses.
She has built the business herself over the years and her excellence shows through the loyalty of her customers. She has since passed the running of the yard on to her daughter but remains a key part of the team, also teaching lessons every week.
